Bulacan police operations net 9 drug dealers, 2 wanted persons
Police seized around P180,000 worth of illegal drugs, and arrested seven drug suspects and two most wanted persons in a series of operations in Bulacan province on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
Bulacan Police Provincial Office director Col. Relly B. Arnedo, in his report to Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., Central Luzon police director, said the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Sta. Maria conducted a drug sting that resulted in the arrest of alias "Paolo" and alias "Reymart" at around 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 7, in Brgy. Bagbaguin, Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

Confiscated from the two men were four sachets of suspected shabu worth P102,000, one metal coin purse, one unit of Yamaha Aerox 155, and marked money.
Seven alleged drug dealers were also apprehended in buy-bust operatios conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Angat, Marilao, San Miguel, and Plaridel.
The operations yielded a total of 21 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P78,040.
The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination.
Criminal complaints for violation of Republic Aact 9165 will be filed against the suspects, police said.
Meanwhile, operatives of Norzagaray Police Station served the arrest warrant issued by a court James Buscato, tagged most wanted person in the province.
Buscato faces a case of attempted rape with no bail recommended.
The tracker team of San Jose Del Monte City Police Station has arrested Teddy Laorio, listed as Top 3 most wanted person, at Purok 4, Brgy. Paradise III, CSJDM, Bulacan.
He was nabbed on the strength of a warrant issued by a court in City of Malolos, Bulacan for attempted murder with no recommended bail.
In separate operations, eight people wanted for various crimes and offenses were apprehended by tracker teams from the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), Pulilan, San Jose Del Monte City, Marilao, Sta. Maria, and Paombong police stations.
The arrested persons are now under the custody of the arresting unit and stations.
