Fruitas ramps up expansion of its Chinese resto chain
Fruitas Holdings Inc., the leading operator of multi-format food and beverage stores in the country, is ramping up the expansion of its Ling Nam restaurant chain with the opening of three new branches in Metro Manila.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), Fruitas said it kicked of the year by opening Ling Nam restaurants across three major cities in the Metro Manila – Quezon City, Caloocan City, and Makati City.

"It is only the beginning of our fruitful expansion in the casual and formal dining space this year,” said Fruitas Holdings President and CEO Lester Yu.
He said that Ling Nam aims to bring its authentic delicacies that Filipinos love across the Philippines.
Yu emphasized the company's commitment to customer satisfaction, citing Ling Nam's legacy spanning more than 70 years.
“This strategic expansion underscores Fruitas Group's commitment to providing quality dining experiences and strengthening its presence in the industry,” the firm said.
The Caloocan branch is located in Ziti Center Mall and has a private room for meetings and intimate gatherings, along with a seating capacity of 48.
Ling Nam’s newest branch in Quezon City was recently opened in Ever Commonwealth and will cater to families and patrons seeking quality dining options in a vibrant atmosphere.
Ling Nam also expanded into the heart of the financial district, Makati City, with the launch of Ling Nam Noodle Bar, a redefined experience for Ling Nam, at The Grid Co-Living in San Antonio Village.
Since the Fruitas Group’s acquisition of Ling Nam, it has continued to innovate by introducing additional formats for Ling Nam. In addition to the original Ling Nam since 1950 format, Fruitas launched Ling Nam Express, Ling Nam Noodle Bar, and Ling Nam Fried Siopao.
Ling Nam Express can be found in the leading malls, including Robinsons Place Manila, Ayala Malls Cloverleaf, and SM North EDSA Bridgeway.
As of Feb. 6, 2024, Ling Nam boasts a total of 34 stores nationwide, comprising seven Ling Nam since 1950; three Ling Nam Express; one Ling Nam Noodle Bar; and 23 Ling Nam Fried Siopao outlets.
