Calabarzon's most wanted captured in Surigao del Sur

CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Police nabbed a 29-year-old man listed as the most wanted person in the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon region or Region 4-A in Carrascal town, Surigao del Sur province.

Police Regional Office-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft identified the suspect as Aljay.

Aljay, a mining employee, was arrested in Barangay Baybay on Monday, February 5, on a warrant for rape issued by the Regional Trial Court, 4th Judicial Region, Branch 130, Trece Martires City, Cavite.

The court recommended no bail for his temporary freedom.

Aljay allegedly raped an 18-year-old college student on March 20, 2022 in Beverly Hills, Barangay Cabuco, Trece Martires City, Cavite.

Kraft commended police for the capture of the suspect.

“I commend the operating units for the successful arrest of the suspect,” he said. “This accomplishment signifies that no one can forever hide from the long arm of the law.”
