Parañaque Comelec announces venues for voter registration

The Parañaque City Commission on Election (Comelec) District I announced the venues where they will conduct the voter registration starting Feb. 12 to 24.

The Comelec said the voter registration will be held at Redemptorist Church in Barangay Baclaran on Feb. 12 and at Parañaque City Sports Complex on Feb. 13 to 14.

It will also be conducted at the Comelec’s District I Office of the Election Officer, Parañaque City on Feb. 15 and at Parañaque Sports Complex on Feb. 16 to 24.

The Comelec said the type of application covered by the voter registration are new registration; transfer from other city, municipality and district; correction of entries or change of status; reactivation of registration records; inclusion of registration records and reinstatement of name in the list of voters; transfer of registration records from foreign service post to local; and updating of records of persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens and members of indigenous peoples (IP) or Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICCs) and persons deprived of liberty (PDLs).

The Comelec said residents may message or follow the Facebook page of Parañaque Public Information Office (PIO) and the Comelec District 1 and II for more details and concerns.
