Youth to gather in Naga City for National Youth Day 2025
After a three-year delay, the long-awaited National Youth Day (NYD) will finally be held in Naga City in July 2025.

“Young pilgrims of hope, come to the pilgrim city,” the Caceres Youth Commission said in a social media post on Monday, Feb. 5.
The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) said that this event will be hosted by the Archdiocese of Caceres for the first time.
The church also said that originally it was scheduled for 2021 to commemorate 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines. However, the NYD had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The previous NYD took place in Cebu City in April 2019, attended by over 20,000 delegates.
The Naga City, known as the "Pilgrim City," is expected to draw even more young people from across the country to foster a spirit of unity and faith.
