PRO-13 fetes 27 personnel for achievements

CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City -- Twenty-seven personnel of the Police Regional Office-13 were awarded for their accomplishments at the police regional headquarters here on Monday, February 5.

PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft led the awarding together with Philippine National Police Academy Deputy Director Police Brig. Gen. Jonathan A. Cabal, guest of honor and speaker.

The Medalya ng Kagalingan was awarded to 14 personnel from the Regional Intelligence Division-13 for the arrest of the No.1 most wanted person on the regional level for robbery with violence and intimidation of person in Barangay Poblacion, Barobo, Surigao del Sur.

Police Major Ernesto E. Marcos Jr., Executive Master Sgt. Mary Ann D. Abejay, Senior Master Sgt. Julius D. Aliwanag, Master Sgt. Allan O. Callao, Staff Sgt. Jevins Lou B. Tanio, Staff Sgt. Roldan D. Galarion, and Corporals Chara May J. Jabagat, Karen M. Tuto, Laurence Xerxes T. Ki, Joey O. Cabrera, Usop M. Amis, and Allan C. Escobilla also received the same medal for arresting the region’s No. 9 MWP for rape in Barangay Poblacion, Carmen, Agusan del Norte last December 26.

NUP Elpidio A. Omay received the Medalya ng Papuri for efficiency, loyalty, and dedication in nine years as crime registrar of the Sison Municipal Police Station (MPS) in Surigao del Norte.

“As we implement the chief PNP’s five-focused agenda, we also give due recognition to our personnel whose efforts led to our substantial gains in police operations and administration,” Kraft said.
