LTO-7 Regional Director Glen Galario thanked Bohol Rep. Vanessa Aumentado for proposing House Bill No. 9652 which seeks the establishment of an LTO district office in Ubay.

The House approved the bill on final reading on January 24.

Galario said establishing an LTO district office in Ubay will bring the agency’s services closer to more people in Bohol.

“We at LTO will continue to serve the public not just in the best possible way but also to extend our services and expand to strategic locations in the region. We are also extending our gratitude to Congresswoman Aumentado for proposing this bill and being the proponent of our future office in the second district in Bohol,” said Galario.

Aumentado is hopeful that the bill will be approved by the Senate.

“It was a long process but we worked hard for the bill to reach this far. Hopefully, the Senate will approve the bill so that it will be signed by the President for its enactment into law,” said Aumentado, wife of Bohol Gov. Aris Aumentado.
