In 10 years of its operations in the country, finance company Home Credit Philippines (HCPH) shared that it has granted P295.7 billion in installments, cash loans, and credit products to its consumers for the past ten years.
In a statement, HCPH said that it has signed 17 million point-of-sale (POS) loans led by 12 million financed mobile phone units, including over one million TV units, and 867,000 computer units from 2013 to 2023.
Aside from POS loans, it has also approved more than two million cash loans, and over two million revolving loans.
In addition, the company has also reached 10 million customers as of December last year.
“Thanks to our easy and accessible consumer finance products, we supported countless Filipinos in acquiring gadgets, furniture, appliances, and more, to realize their goals for themselves and their families. In 2013, we began with just seven loans processed, but today, we have officially served over 10 million customers,” said HCPH Chief Marketing Officer Sheila Paul.
HCPH served as an alternative financing option for Filipinos who could not benefit from traditional financing. It provided loan options for mobile phones, other electronics, home improvement, and department store items. Its services were expanded with the launch of its credit service through the My Home Credit App.
