DICT announces PBBM's approval of National Cybersecurity Plan

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) announced on Tuesday, Feb. 6, the approval of the National Cybersecurity Plan (NCSP) for the years 2024 to 2028 by President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

DICT said that the plan aims to establish a "trusted, secure, and reliable" cyberspace for the Filipino people.

Furthermore, DICT mentioned that this goal will be accomplished through strategies and programs that focus on proactive protection and security for both the people and the state.

Moreover, it aims to expand the cybersecurity workforce and enhance its capabilities, as well as to develop the cybersecurity policy framework, according to DICT.
