BUTUAN CITY – Seven-thousand, seven personnel of the Police Regional Office-13 have completed specialized training courses that enhanced their competency and proficiency in law enforcement functions in 2023.

The PRO 13-Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division (RLDDD) said 446 were Police Commissioned Officers (PCOs), 6,328 Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs), and 233 Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUPs).
PRO 13-Regional Public Information Office (RPIO) chief Police Major Jennifer S. Ometer said training programs focused on investigation, intelligence, police-community relations, internal security operations, resource management, logistics, and police operations.
PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft said that these courses play a key role in law enforcement.
"These specialized training programs play a significant role in developing professionalism, discipline, integrity, and ethical conduct among our ranks,” he said. “Our police officers have gained a deeper understanding of laws, regulations, and procedures relevant to our sworn duties.”
