58-year-old communist supporter yields

CAMP Major Saturnino Dumlao, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya – A 58-year-old farmer and supporter of the Kilusang Larangang Guerilla-Ifugao surrendered to the police in  Diadi, Nueva Vizcaya on Monday, February 5.

The 2nd Maneuver Platoon, 1st Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Mobile Force Company (1st NVPMFC) and the Diadi Police Station facilitated his surrender.

He started supporting the communist movement in 1982 after he was recruited by three KLG-Ifugao members.

They often visit his old house in Diadi where he became an active member in meetings and served as a food courier.

He decided to leave the communist movement to clear his name and ensure the safety of his family.

He surrender an improvised  shotgun and two 12-gauge bullets and currently in the custody of the police for documentation and proper disposition.
