2 drug suspects nabbed, P680K shabu seized in QC buy-bust
Two men were arrested by Quezon City Police District (QCPD) operatives after they yielded P680,000 worth of alleged shabu on Sunday, Feb. 4.
The Quezon City Police said on Tuesday, Feb. 6, that the suspects -- Jay-R dela Cruz, 37, listed as a big-time drug pusher from Concepcion, Marikina City; and Jather Amador, 38, listed as Street Level Individual (SLI), a resident of Antipolo City -- were arrested in a buy-bust operation.

Police said QCPD Batasan Station (PS 6) operatives received information from an informant regarding the illegal drug activities of the suspects in Livelihood Talanay, Area C, Brgy. Batasan Hills, Quezon City.
Police launched an entrapment operation and arrested the suspects at about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday after one of the operatives, who acted as a buyer, bought P6,500 worth of shabu from them.
Seized from the suspects were 100 grams of shabu valued at P680,000, a blue pouch, a cellular phone, and the buy-bust money.
The suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
