Overnight anti-criminality drive nets 20 in Rizal province

At least 20 individuals were arrested and around P500,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized in overnight anti-criminality operations conducted by the police stations in Rizal province on Feb. 4.

The office of Rizal Police Provincial Office director Col. Felipe Maraggun said the police operations also resulted in the confiscation of around 73.8 grams of suspected shabu worth P496,944,000 from seven  persons in three buy-bust operations.

Three persons wanted for various crimes were arrested while 10 others were detained for their involvement in illegal gambling.

Fifty-seven persons were also caught violating various local ordinances.
