- Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) Administrator and Chief Executive Officer Katrina Ponce Enrile, who is also the daughter of Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile, claimed that Andanar was funding vloggers such as Maharlika and Sass Rogando Sasot using money from China.
Former Communications Secretary Martin Andanar has denied allegations that he was the one behind vloggers or internet influencers who openly criticize President Marcos and his administration.

Andanar made the denial after Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) Administrator and Chief Executive Officer Katrina Ponce Enrile claimed that he was funding the disinformation against the current administration.
In a message to the Manila Bulletin, Andanar said there was no truth to the claims against him.
"Fake news," he said on Monday, Feb. 5.
The CEZA executive, who is also the daughter of Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile, claimed that Andanar was funding vloggers such as Maharlika and Sass Rogando Sasot using money from China.
She warned the public against falling for the propaganda being spread by the said internet personalities.
"I just found out also that Martin Andanar is not based here. He is now based in Beijing. He is the one funding all this disinformation like Maharlika, like Sass," Enrile said in a speech at a CEZA event.
"They're doing this because they're getting paid. You want to continue listening to their rants? Go ahead. But I'm just telling you, they're being paid from China," she added.
Andanar served as the secretary of the now-defunct Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) during the time of former president Rodrigo Duterte.
After his stint at the government, he is now based in Beijing and has been an anchor for the state-run China Global Television Network (CGTN) for the past six months.
