
A robbery holdup suspect was arrested by members of the Pasay City Police Substation 10 who were conducting Oplan Galugad on Sunday, Feb. 4.
The Southern Police District said Pasay City Police Chief, Col. Mario Mayames reported the arrest of alias Romie, 19 at around 8:15 a.m. along Macapagal Avenue, Barangay 76, Zone 10, Pasay City.
Mayames said the suspect cohort identified as alias Jamil was able to elude the arrest and is now being hunted.
He said members of substation 10 police were conducting a mobile patrol as part of their Oplan Galugad activity for the arrest of the suspect after they received information from concerned citizens on the presence of armed men in the area.
The city police chief said members of the substation 10 police immediately proceeded to the area leading to the arrest of Romie while Jamil was able to elude the arrest.

The police were able to recover from the suspect a .38 caliber revolver with six live ammunition, a black wallet with several identification cards, and P1,000 cash.
He said during interrogation, Romie admitted that he and Jamil were responsible for robbing a male victim also Macapagal Avenue, and took his iPhone amounting to P30,000 and cash.
