Coconut farmers killed in Quezon gun attack

GUINAYANGAN, Quezon â€“ Two coconut farmers were gunned down in Barangay Dancalan Central here on Saturday morning, February 4.

Police identified the victims as Randy Pedregal, 46, and his wife, Analisa, 50.

Initial investigation said the victims were harvesting coconuts in their plantation when unidentified gunmen appeared and shot them.

Victims sustained multiple bullet wounds in the body and died on the spot.

The suspects fled towards the neighboring town of Buenavista, Quezon.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
