Operatives of Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Batasan Police Station (PS 6) arrested two men for allegedly selling illegal drugs and for illegal possession of firearms on Thursday, Feb. 1.

Police identified the suspects as Zoren, 33, a resident of Marikina City and Herbert, 37, of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
According to the police report, PS 6 operatives conducted an entrapment operation after a concerned citizen tipped off the illegal activities of the suspects in front of a motorshop on IBP Road in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City at around 9:50 p.m on Jan. 31.
A police officer posed as a buyer and successfully brought P8,500 worth of shabu from the suspects.

Confiscated from the suspects were 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000, a cellular phone, a brown coin purse, two helmets, and the buy bust money.
Police also found a 9mm Beretta pistol with six pieces of live ammunition from Zoren.
Police said the two suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, while Zoren will face additional charge for violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
