Landco bags 6 global awards in 2023
Continuing its commitment to corporate excellence in premium and leisure real estate development

Landco Pacific Corporation, a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation led by Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan, has earned global recognition with six prestigious awards in 2023, solidifying its position as a leader in premium resort living.
President and CEO Erickson Y. Manzano expressed his satisfaction, stating, “We are thrilled and honored with the international accolades for Landco in the past year. These awards reaffirm our thrust to build premium and sustainable developments that have worth in the world and people’s lives. This motivates us to continue our trailblazing efforts in developing premium and leisure communities that create positive environmental and social impacts."
Landco's latest project, BeachTowns, strategically located in key leisure and tourist destinations in the Philippines, has garnered attention for its master-planned and mixed-use communities, unique resort amenities, and sustainable features. Manzano emphasized the company's dedication to leaving a lasting and sustainable legacy, saying, “Through the development of Landco BeachTowns, our focus is to leave a lasting and sustainable legacy for the next generation.”
The awards include recognition as "Asia’s Best Performing Company" at the Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability (ACES) Awards 2023, Best Leisure Real Estate (Resort Estate) Developer of The Year at the 2023 Global Economic Awards in Dubai, and the 2023 Real Estate Asia Award at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore.
Landco also received the Best Luxury Leisure Projects Developer in the 2023 Global Business Outlook Awards in Dubai and Most Sustainable Developer and Best Real Estate Developer in the 2023 International Investment Awards in London.
Manzano acknowledged Landco's emphasis on sustainability, stating, “Sustainability is very personal to me, and I do my best to embed it into our corporate DNA. We subsidize these additional investments from our margins, taking less profit because we know it’s the right thing to do. And I hope it inspires other developers to follow suit.”
Recognized for its exemplary business strategies, governance, and regional operations, Landco was commended at the ACES Award for being an exemplar for Asian companies. Manzano also received the Outstanding Contribution Towards Sustainability in Real Estate Development award at the Global Economics Awards.
Landco's commitment to sustainability extends to its real estate developments, with BeachTowns like CaSoBe and Club Laiya being LEED registered and featuring innovative water recycling measures. Millennial Resorts, Landco's hospitality arm, achieved the first EDGE Certification for resort hospitality in the country, emphasizing eco-efficient design and resource reduction.
In addition to environmental sustainability, Landco engages in Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, including the Adopt-a-Scholar program in partnership with Batangas State University. Manzano outlined the company's support for local communities, stating, "Landco also supported local fisherfolks by providing access roads, and job creation with about 70 percent of millennial resorts staff from the local community."
Landco's achievements underscore its position as a leader in premium resort living, driven by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability.
