Taguig's EMBO barangays get new ZIP codes

The 10 EMBO (enlisted men’s barrio) transferred to Taguig were given new ZIP (zone improvement plan) codes.

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PhilPost) announced new ZIP code assignments for the 10 EMBO barangays in Taguig.

This is in compliance with the final decision of the Supreme Court last year which transferred the jurisdiction of the 10 EMBO barangays from Makati to Taguig.

The following new ZIP codes are assigned to the EMBO barangays:

1640: CEMBO

1641: COMEMBO

1642: PEMBO

1643: EAST REMBO

1644: WEST REMBO

1645: SOUTH CEMBO

1646: PITOGO

1647: POST PROPER NORTHSIDE

1648: POST PROPER SOUTHSIDE

1649: RIZAL

The Taguig City government said, “Residents and businesses in these barangays are advised to update their postal information to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of mails and packages.”
