Royal Enfield launches Super Meteor 650 cruiser

A new journey with a new distributor

Royal Enfield in the Philippines begins a new chapter as it unveils a new model and begins its new journey with a new distributor. Taking the reigns for local distribution is Motociclista Scatola, a joint company of Bikerbox and the Borromeo Motoring Group.

The announcement was made during the Philippine launch of the new Super Meteor 650. The large, twin-cylinder cruiser hopes to expand the brand’s portfolio of models with a new, large displacement retro cruiser.

Like its stablemates, the Super Meteor boasts of retro classic styling. It has a low-slung seat with a height of just 740-mm for easy mounting. Ahead is the sculpted teardrop tank with its specially-designed meteor logo. The rider gets a unique digital and analog multi-function instrument cluster called the Tripper.

Lighting the way ahead is a full LED headlamp. Its beam is kept steady by the front’s upside down fork front suspension. For added stability, the Super Meteor features a much wider rear tire.

The Super Meteor 650 is available in seven striking colors: Astral Blue, Astral Black, Astral Green, Interstellar Green, Interstellar Grey, Celestial Red and Celestial Blue. The Super Meteor 650 Tourer, which comes kitted with a touring windscreen, deluxe touring seat, pillion backrest, is available in two distinctive two-tone finishes: Celestial Red and Celestial Blue.

Filipino riders can now experience Pure Motorcycling through this superlative cruiser to great locations across the Philippines. The Super Meteor 650 will be available in the Philippines for a reservation fee of ₱20,000. Pre-orders are now open via Royal Enfield Dealerships across the country.
