P523,000 shabu seized in Lucena drug bust

LUCENA CITY â€“ Two drug pushers were apprehended and over P500,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation here on Wednesday, February 28.

Police identified the suspects as Jeff, 41, a high-value individual, of Tayabas City, Quezon, and Nelson, a mechanic, of Sariaya, Quezon.

Suspects yielded 22.5 grams of shabu worth P523,464.

They were taken to the Lucena police station and face drug-related charges.
