The most recent according to the Malay-Boracay Tourism Office was MS Westerdam of Holland America Line that arrived on Tuesday, February 27.

The cruise ship that also visited Boracay last November had 1,635 passengers.

The second was MS Resorts World One that arrived in the resort-island with more than 2,700 tourists early this month.

On January 25, MS Norwegian Jewel with 2,154 tourists visited Boracay. It was the ship’s fourth visit to the island.

Boracay is only a day-tour for cruise ship tourists and stay only for an average of eight hours.

A mix of Asian and European tourists were able to see the stretch of white sand beach, visited souvenir shops, and dined in restaurants before the cruise ship sailed out by the evening.

Three more cruise ships are expected to visit Boracay in March.
