QC gov't gives aid to fire victims

The Quezon City government provided assistance to 130 families affected by a fire that occurred in Banawe St. cor. Cardiz St. Barangay Tatalon, on Tuesday, February 27.

The victims were evacuated to Diosdado Macapagal Elementary School where officials of the city government distributed relief goods and other assistance to them.

 The distribution was led by Councilor Irene Belmonte, Councilor Egay Yap, and District 4 Action Officer Al Flores.  

The Social Services Development Department provided hot meals while the QC Risk Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office gave hygiene kits and food.

The City Health Department provided first aid to the injured victims. 

The city government promised to support the victims and help them recover from the tragedy.
