Pangasinan residents discover massive snake skin

CALASIAO, Pangasinan – Residents of Barangay Bued here has sought assistance from authorities after the skin of a large snake was discovered on Tuesday, February 27.

Residents expressed fear about this snake roaming their barangay, saying it endangers their lives, particularly their children’s.

According to a resident, the skin found was not the entirety of the snake.

"Pa-help sana mahanap na ‘yung higanteng ahas sa barangay namin. Kalahating balat palang po ‘yan. sobrang laki noong ahas (Please help us find the snake in our barangay. What was found was only half the skin. The snake is really very large)," Juvy Ann Flores said on Facebook.

Some residents reported that their animals went missing recently and suspect that the snake was responsible for their disappearance.

Barangay officials and hunters are tracking down the snake.
