Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao chief Gil Cesario Castro said the raiding team uprooted 15,000 fully grown marijuana plants in a 500-square meter area.
However, two suspected cultivators – Rene Onji and Amah Jul Onji – fled before authorities arrived.
Castro said a drug pusher caught in a buy-bust operation tagged the Onjis as his supplier.
The PDEA will file charges drug-related charges against the Onjis.
