Marcos on kill plot against Quiboloy: No one wants to assassinate him
No one is out to assassinate Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, President Marcos said amid the former's claims of assassination plot against him.

"Walang may gustong mag-assassinate sa kanya. Bakit siya i-assassinate, wala namang (No one wants to assassinate him. Why would he be assassinated, no one)--- why would anyone want him dead," Marcos said Wednesday, Feb. 28, when he was sought for comments over Quiboloy's claim that there is a plan to eliminate him.
Without providing proof, he claimed that the United States is out to assassinate him, supposedly with the blessing of Marcos. The President only laughed it off.
Marcos also said that he does not understand why the founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ would claim such plot against him.
"Siguro, natatakot siya dahil sa mga pangyayari (Maybe he is scared because of the situation). But, I--- again, the best way to defuse that situation for him is to testify before the committees in the House and in the Senate," Marcos said.
Quiboloy is tagged wanted by the Federal Bureau Investigation (FBI) for his alleged participation in a labor trafficking scheme, sex trafficking, fraud, and other charges.
A federal warrant was issued for his arrest in November 2021.
