Baguio Panagbenga float parade winners bared

BAGUIO CITY – The Baguio Flower Festival Foundation Inc. (BFFI) has announced the winners of the float parade in the Panagbenga Festival here over the weekend.

Pangasinan Solid North bus company topped the large float category. Chowking emerged on top in the medium category and Zaparita Garden, being the lone entry, topped the small category.

Mauricio Domogan, chairman for life of Panagbenga, bared the winners during the Kapihan sa Baguio at the Session Road in Bloom here on Wednesday, February 28.
 
The Jollibee float was second and the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprises Zone Authority was third in the large category.

Second and third in the medium category were the KFC float and Procter & Gamble-Youthopia.

Domogan said this year’s float parade with 33 participants, including Hall of Famers, can be considered the biggest in the history of Panagbenga.

Twenty-nine floats competed in the float parade. This year’s Panagbenga theme is "Celebrating Traditions, Embracing Innovation."
