63rd National Day of the State of Kuwait

The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in the Philippines commemorated the 63rd anniversary of its National Day last Feb. 22, 2024. It was held at the Grand Ballroom of Shangri-la The Fort in BGC (Bonifacio Global City), Taguig. The venue was beautifully decorated with colors of the Kuwaiti flag. 

The festivity was led by the Ambassador of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait, H.E. Musaed Saleh A.M. Althwaikh.

Coinciding with the 33rd anniversary of Liberation, these two occasions are very important events of the State of Kuwait. They embody the deepest meaning of loyalty to homeland and patriotism and the continuity of the positive engagement with the international community in all aspects and fields of mutual benefits.

Ambassador Musaed Saleh A.M. Althwaikh stated in his National Day message, "On these auspicious occasions, The State of Kuwait looks forward to further strengthening and nurturing the friendship and deep ties with the Republic of the Philippines founded on shared aspirations for greater peace and prosperity of our people."

Attended by the members of the diplomatic corps, Philippine government officials, Kuwaiti nationals residing in the Philippines and friends of the embassy who all enjoyed the feast prepared for everyone to savor.

And as an additional treat, Kuwait Airways sponsored the prize of a trip for two to Barcelona. The lucky winner, which was drawn by Ambassador Musaed Saleh A.M. AlThwaikh, was from the staff of Senator Robinhood Padilla.
