3 drug pushers fall, P1.9-M shabu seized in Iloilo City

ILOILO CITY – Police nabbed three suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Santo Niño Norte, Arevalo District here on Tuesday, February 26.

A BUY-BUST operation in Iloilo City captured three suspected drug pushers and P1.9-million worth of shabu. (PRO-6 RDEU)

Seized from the suspects – Ronald, Rodalyn, and Jhemmark – were 280 grams of shabu valued at P1.9 million and a firearm.

The operation led by the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) of the Police Regional Office-6 sought 41-year-old Ronald, a high-value drug suspect.

The PRO-6 lauded the operation backed up by the Iloilo City Police Office-City Drug Enforcement Unit and the ICPO-Arevalo Police Station.

“This accomplishment speaks to the dedication and collaborative efforts of our personnel on the ground. Let us continue to serve Western Visayas and do your share in our fight against illegal drugs,” said Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky, PRO-6 chief.
