CEBU CITY – Police in Bohol scored anew in the campaign against illegal drugs after multi-million pesos worth of shabu were seized from a 41-year-old suspected drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in the town of Panglao at dawn on Tuesday, February 27.
The Panglao Police Station arrested a certain JR with one kilo of suspected shabu worth P7.1 million.

The suspect, who was arrested in Barangay Libaong, is a resident of Barangay Sagnap, Loay town, Bohol.
Police Capt. John Khalev Diel Sanchez, officer-in-charge of the Panglao Police Station, said the suspect is believed to be a "bodegero" or a person who keeps shabu from his contacts and deliver it to their clients.
Sanchez said an inmate serves as the suspect's contact in the distribution of illegal drugs not just in Panglao but also in other towns in Bohol.
He said that based on their investigation, the suspect has been peddling illegal drugs for several years.
