LOOK: Binay accepts Robin Padilla's apology: 'Nawa'y maging aral sa ating lahat'
Senator Maria Lourdes Nancy Binay has accepted the apology Senator Robinhood Padilla has extended to her office and the Senate.
Binay, in her letter to Padilla, confirmed she has already received his letter of apology, which he sent yesterday, Monday, February 26.

Padilla has also apologized to Senate President Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri and two other Senate officials following the “Vitamin C” drip session done by his wife, actress-host Mariel Rodriguez Padilla, in his office a week ago.
“Batid ko po ang inyong pagsusumanmo, at bilang kasama sa Mataas na Kapulungan, lubos ko pong nauunawaan ang inyong mga alalahanin patungkol sa mga naging kaganapan nitong nakalipas na mga araw (I’m aware of your plea, and as a member of the Upper House, I fully understand your concerns regarding the events of the past few days),” Binay said in her letter.
As senators, Binay, who chairs the Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges, stressed the importance of protecting the integrity of the Senate.
“Nawa’y maging aral sa ating lahat ang nangyaring insidente, at manatili tayong higit sa kapintasan bilang mga kinatawan at halal ng taumbayan (May the incident be a lesson to all of us, and may we remain above reproach as representatives and electors of the people),” she emphasized.
Earlier, Binay expressed concern about the vitamin drip session saying the incident should be closely looked into “because it involves issues of conduct, integrity and reputation of the institution and matters that concern health and safety.”
