The Dalipe administration focuses on three main thrusts to achieve this objective: Rebuilding a resilient Zamboanga City, transforming the lives of Zamboangueños through social services, and sustaining a competitive Zamboanga through its economic enterprises.
Dalipe cited two massive infrastructure projects being implemented by the national government in coordination with the city government – the new Zamboanga International Airport and the first flyover here on Gov. Camins Ave. towards Tetuan Highway.
The flyover is set to be completed by July and P567.5 million had been spent for lots at the site of the new airport.
Dalipe also cited the allocation of P1 billion for various local infrastructure projects such as roads at the center of town up to the farthest barangay. He said that new roads are needed for the city to become competitive.
Other notable accomplishments, he said, are the construction of the first-ever Mendicants Center in the country, increase in business tax collection, titling of parks around the Zamboanga City Hall, and millions of pesos in assistance to various sectors.
