Cordillera cops nab 26 wanted persons

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – The Police Regional Office-Cordillera nabbed 26 wanted individuals from February 18 to 24.

Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., PRO-Cordillera police chief, said the Baguio City Police Office caught nine wanted persons, Benguet Police Provincial Office, eight; Kalinga PPO, five; Mountain Province PPO, two, and Apayao PPO and Abra PPO, one each.

Peredo added that 57 municipalities and two police stations in Baguio City recorded zero crime incidents due to intensified police visibility.

No crimes were logged in 22 out of the 27 towns in Abra, eight of the 13 in Benguet, four of the seven in Kalinga, 10 of the 11 in Ifugao, eight of the 10 in Mountain Province, and five of seven in Apayao.

In Baguio City, the Marcos Highway Police Station and Naguilian Police Station had no crime incidents.
