3 minors engaged in pot session arrested

BAMBANG, Nueva Vizcaya – Patrolling lawmen and barangay tanods or watchmen caught three minors engaged in a pot session in Upper Purok 3, Barangay Magsaysay Hill here on Monday, February 26.

The suspects were identified as Pulet, 17; Facio, 15, and Makol, 15.

Recovered from the suspects were a partially burnt papaya straw containing 0.06 grams of suspected dried marijuana valued at P120 and mobile phones.

The suspects were taken to the police headquarters here for further investigation and proper disposition.

They were provided assistance by the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) and brought to the Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Hospital for examination.

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Bambang vowed to ensure appropriate support and intervention for the minors.
