UPCAT 2025 online application opens in April

Exams scheduled for August 10 and 11, 2024

The University of the Philippines (UP) System's Office of Admissions announced on Monday, Feb. 26, that the online application for the UP College Admission Test (UPCAT) for the academic year 2025-2026 will begin on April 15, 2024.

UP said the exam will be held on Aug. 10 and 11.

Applicants are advised to return to the UPCAT portal in August and complete Form 2B with their grades.

The university also said applicants must submit a hard copy of their SF-10 to the UP Office of Admissions in UP Diliman, Quezon City.

"Current Grade 11 students, who are expected to be in Grade 12 at the time of the UPCAT, are eligible to apply in April 2024," it said.

The UPCAT includes four subtests: Language Proficiency in English and Filipino, Reading Comprehension in English and Filipino, Science, and Mathematics.

"Standardized UPCAT scores are combined with the composite of final grades in Grades 8 to 11 to determine the admission score (UPG)," UP Admissions said.
