In the first part of the deal, the Road Warriors shipped the 6-foot-8 forward to the Bossing in exchange of Ato Ular, Yousef Taha and Blackwater’s first round pick in the Season 51 rookie draft.
Blackwater then sent Ganuelas-Rosser to TNT for the services of Jaydee Tungcab and Justin Chua along with the Tropang Giga first round pick in the Season 51 draft.
At TNT, Ganuelas-Rosser is expected to provide some frontcourt depth and help veterans Kelly Williams and Jewel Ponferrada and rookie Galinato in manning the paint. The Tropang Giga are still likely to be without center JP Erram in the upcoming Philippine Cup. He also gets reunited with older brother Matt.
Ganuelas-Rosser showed promise upon his arrival in the Road Warriors although his stint was hampered by numerous injuries. He only played for five games in the Commissioner’s Cup averaging 8.4 points and 3.6 rebounds.
The Road Warriors, on the other hand, got serviceable big men Ular and Taha who will both get reunited with Baser Amer who also recently signed with NLEX after getting a release from Blackwater.
The Bossing, one of the busiest teams, wheeling and dealing in the off-season have added other potential pieces in Tungcab and Chua. Chua is still recovering from a knee injury while Tungcab could finally get his break and minutes at Blackwater.
The two were the latest additions to Blackwater which also landed James Yap and Rey Nambatac in separate deals.
