Pangasinan anti-crime drive nets 84 law offenders

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – Police arrested 84 law offenders in the anti-criminality law enforcement operations in this province from February 18 to 24.

Police Col. Jeff Fanged, Pangasinan Police Provincial Office chief, said 20 suspected drug pushers were arrested and 26.243 grams of shabu and 1.407 grams of marijuana worth a total of P178,600 were seized from them.

Thirteen persons were nabbed for illegal gambling and 42 wanted persons, three of them tagged most wanted, were served with warrants of arrest.

Nine individuals were arrested for illegal possession of firearms. Seven firearms were seized, three were turned over for safekeeping while owners are completing their documents, and 11 were surrendered.

Fanged vowed their utmost efforts to make this province peaceful and orderly.
