Simplification of Korean Visa application documents for BDO Credit Cardholders

When you have a BDO Gold or Elite Credit Card (excluding supplementary credit card holders), you’re exempt from submitting financial documents like bank certificates, bank statements, and Income Tax Returns (ITRs) when applying for a South Korean visa from February 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.

Here are the BDO Credit Cards that you can use for your application: BDO Gold Credit Cards including BDO Gold Mastercard, Visa Gold, JCB Gold, Gold UnionPay, Diners Club International, American Express Cashback Credit Card, and American Express Explorer Credit Card; BDO Elite Cards including World Elite Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Visa Platinum, JCB Platinum, Diamond UnionPay, Diners Club Premiere, American Express Platinum Credit Card, and  American Express International Dollar Change Cards (Platinum, Gold, and Green).

Here are the requirements for your visa application:

  • Certificate of employment (original), copy of credit card (front only with complete information), and latest three months credit card account Monthly Billing Statements (copy)
  • Submission of bank certificates, bank statements, and ITR are exempted* for credit card holders and family members. Other documents, such as proof of relationship, are required.
    Immediate family members: One's parents, spouse, minor children (applicable for adult children who can prove to be students through documents), spouse's parents
