The Department of Education’s (DepEd) employees’ union on Sunday, Feb. 25, vowed to continue working to improve the country's educational system.

In a statement, the DepEd-National Employees’ Union (DepEd-NEU) acknowledged the “harmonious synergy” between the management and the dedicated teaching and non-teaching workforce as a driving force in the continuous trust of the Filipino people.
“This recognition will serve as an inspiration to our organization as we vow to remain steadfast in our dedication to advocating for the welfare and rights of all education workers and stakeholders,” it said.
The union also pledged to “actively participate” in DepEd's programs and projects aimed at addressing challenges in education.
“We shall be the consistent and united voice of our educators and workers who champion the improvement of the basic education landscape,” they added.
The department also expressed confidence that with the support of its members, partners, and the Filipino people, they can contribute to the continued success and advancement of the country's education system.
