Two men listed as top one wanted persons under the district level were nabbed in separate operations conducted by members of the Las Piñas and Pasay police on February 23.
The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspects as alias Jake,37, and alias Tutus, 35.

The SPD said Jake who was facing eight counts of rape was arrested at around 4 p.m. in Barangay Bubuyan, Calamba, Laguna.
The suspect was arrested by warrant of arrest issued by Judge Nerina C.N. Anastacio Mendinueto of Las Piñas City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 199, Las Piñas City on January 30, 2024, with no bail recommended.

In Pasay City, Tutus who was facing violation of murder was arrested at around 3:30 p.m. in Barangay 70, Pasay City.
Col. Marion Mayames, city police chief, said the suspect was arrested by members of WSS by warrant of arrest issued by Judge Gidget Rose V. Duque, LL.M., of Pasay RTC Branch 119, on January 16, 2024, with no bail recommended.
The arrested suspects were detained at the Las Piñas and Pasay police custodial facility after their arrest.
