In the two separate live videos, the official was seen having her makeup done while wearing a multicolored blouse in the first video and her signature green blouse in the second video.
As of this posting, 70,063 and 15,000 Instagram users watched Duterte in the first and second video, respectively.
The Vice President said she does not know how to go live on the social media platform, so she asked an avid supporter and friend, public relations expert Josh Yugen, to show her how to do it.
Most of the comments from her supporters simply asked Duterte to greet them, “pa-shout out po (Please give us a shout out).”
They also complimented the Vice President, telling her how “beautiful” she looked, while others took the chance to thank her for serving the nation.
Some of the supporters—who came from around the Philippines and the world, such as United States, Japan, and Hong Kong—assured Duterte of their support.
This is the first time in a while that the official took time from her busy schedule to interact with her supporters.
She has also been active recently in her Facebook account by posting video statements and sharing what the Office of the Vice President (OVP) had been doing under her leadership.
Also the country’s education chief, Duterte regularly goes around the country to visit public schools and interact with teachers, students, parents, and school personnel.
