2 men wanted for illegal drug-related cases nabbed in Parañaque and Pasay

Two persons wanted for illegal possession of drugs were arrested in separate operations by ParaÃ±aque and Pasay police on Friday, Feb. 23.

Members Warrant and Supbpoena Sections of Paranaque and Pasay Police apprehended Raymond Vengo,49, listed as Paranaque's Top 9 wanted person; and alias Agapito, 54, a resident of Conchita St., Barangay 127.

SPD director Brig. Gen. Mark Pespes said Vengo was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Maria Luwalhati Carandang Cruz of ParaÃ±aque Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 259 on Dec. 11, 2023 for service of sentence.

Col. Mario Mayames, Pasay city police chief, said Agapito was arrested at around 9:40 a.m. on Conchita St., Barangay 127, Pasay City.

Mayames said the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Pasay RTC Branch 298 on Feb. 14, 2024 with no bail recommended.

The suspects were immediately detained at the police custodial facilities.
