Merry Mart targets 500,000 online customers, 10 distribution hubs
Merry Mart Consumer Corporation is aiming to close 2024 with 500,000 customers in its MM Wholesale eCommerce platform after reporting that its customer base already consists of 200,000 registered members.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), the firm said it is continuously expanding its brick and mortar stores with MM Group now having a total of 127 operating branches.
It is also focusing on further enhancements in the Merry Mart Wholesale’s super app which is seeing an exponential growth in registered users and now carries over 15,000 essential products that businesses, offices, and households consume.
The additional new two-hectare MM Distribution Center in Laguna, South Luzon to be completed this year will enable MM Wholesale to significantly widen its market coverage and make its current logistics operations more efficient.
The new MM Distribution Center is also in preparation to adopt the use of Electric Trucks (EV) in its delivery fleet.
The MM Distribution Center locations in Tarlac and Laguna will be followed by the roll out of two more in Luzon, three in Visayas and three in Mindanao to achieve the first 10 MM Distribution Center network nationwide.
The MM Wholesale ECommerce platform supported by its modern distribution centers are expected to eventually be available in all the 82 provinces of the Philippines. This direction aims to cover 99 percent of the Philippine consumer market.
The Merry Mart Group said it has adjusted its 2030 Vision to generate consolidated systemwide sales revenue of P150 billion.
