The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) conducted a flushing operation to clean the oil that spilled from a truck that tilted after hitting the center island along Del Pan Bridge in Manila on Friday, Feb. 23.

The Manila Police District-Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit (MPD-MDTEU) said that the flushing operation was conducted by the BFP San Nicolas on Friday morning.
The incident caused heavy traffic.
Prior to the incident, authorities said that a mini dump truck driven by Jhun Dajao was traveling northward on Del Pan Bridge.
When the dump truck was descending Del Pan Bridge, its front left end portion accidentally rammed into the center island.
