The Taguig Police arrested three people, including a tricycle driver listed under a drug watchlist, for possession of suspected shabu worth P281,656 in two operations on Feb. 21.
In Barangay Central Bicutan, personnel from the Taguig Police’s Maharlika Substation implemented a search warrant signed by Judge Bernard Pineda Bernal of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 70.
This resulted in the apprehension of suspects, alias Arturo, 38, and alias Kristine, 24.

During the search, the police seized 15.42 grams of suspected shabu contained in 14 plastic sachets with a total value of P104,856.
The suspects are under police custody while the confiscated illegal drugs will be turned over to the Southern Police District (SPD) Forensic Unit.
In Barangay Calzada-Tipas, the Taguig Police arrested a man with the alias Arnhi, 31, tricycle driver, who is listed in the drug watchlist as a street level individual (SLI).

He was arrested for alleged violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
Team from the Taguig Police’s Substation 5 was conducting routine foot patrol when they encountered the suspect in possession of illegal drugs.
The arrest led to the confiscation of 26 grams of suspected shabu valued at P176,800. .
The suspect is detained at the custodial facility of Taguig Police while the confiscated drug evidence was taken to SPD Forensic Unit.
