The Bulacan Philippine National Police arrested 20 illegal drug peddlers and seized from them suspected shabu worth P280,914 in a series of anti-illegal drug operations on Tuesday, Feb. 20, in the province.

In reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the anti-illegal drug operations conducted by the San Miguel and Meycauayan City police led to the arrest of seven individuals and in the confiscation of a total of 21 sachets of suspected shabu valued at P59,234, and the marked money.
Two drug peddlers were arrested by authorities around 2 a.m. in Purok 1, Brgy. Iba Este, Calumpit, Bulacan. A total of 19 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 25 grams and value of P170,000 and the buy-bust money were seized.
Eleven drug personalities were arrested in a series of anti-illegal drug operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Malolos City, Baliwag City, San Rafael, Bocaue, and Balagtas.
A total of 33 sachets of suspected shabu, with an estimated weight of 7.6 grams worth P51,680 and the buy-bust money were confiscated.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
Meanwhile, the Meycauayan City police arrested alias "Dennis", 50, of Purok 1, Brgy. Tiaong, Guiguinto, Bulacan during the implementation of a search warrant order issued by the Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 81, City of Malolos.
Confiscated during the search were a cal. 45 pistol; a magazine for cal. 45, and seven live ammunition subsequently handed over to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for ballistic examinations. Criminal complaints have been filed against the suspects in court.
