17 PRO-Cordillera personnel feted for accomplishments

CAMP BADO DANGWA, Benguet – Seventeen personnel and one unit of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera were awarded for their outstanding achievements during the 33rd Philippine National Police Foundation Day celebration at the Masigasig Grandstand here on Wednesday, February 21.

Benguet Rep. Eric Go Yap and PRO-Cordillera Director Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr. awarded the Medalya ng Kadakilaan to Police Lt. Col. Darwin Clark Domocmat and Major June Lawingan of the Apayao Provincial Police Office; 

The Medalya ng Kagalingan on Police Capt. Jonathan Canilang and Staff Sgt. Donald Bruce Salimbay of the Abra PPO, Major Wiltz Konrad Sally and Corporal Heron Sinopen of the Baguio City Police Office, Lt. Allan Piloy and Patrolman Person Gayudan of the Benguet PPO;

Executive Master Sgt. Calixto Gahid and Staff Sgt Jet Galiom of the Ifugao PPO, Capt. Joseph Marcasi and Staff Sgt. Louie Padayao of the Kalinga PPO, and Capt. Abbey Albert Longi and Staff Sgt. Edwin Agtulao of the Mountain Province PPO.

A Medalya ng Ugnayang Pampulisya was given to Col. Ruel Tagel and Capt. Jayson Rupinta of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion.

The Medalya ng Kasanayan was awarded to Non-Uniformed Personnel Jefferson Damoslog of the Baguio CPO for his meritorious and exemplary performance that resulted in the unit being named as National Awardee for the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award-Group Category during the National Civil Service Commission Honor Awards Program and Recognition Rites on February 14 in Malacañang.

A Plaque of Recognition was given to the Benguet PPO, received by provincial director, Police Col. Joseph Bayongasan, for being the Most Disciplined Unit of PRO-Cordillera for 2023.
