CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The Police Regional Office-3 has launched a program to reduce crime incidents in Central Luzon.
Dubbed Quick Dial Quick Response, PRO3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. said it is considered the latest anti-criminality strategy which will serve as an alarm system for business establishments that are enrolled with the system.
The program has a direct link to the police by dialing the dedicated cellular phone number of the police station without any conversation.
A police response team will be quickly deployed to the area.
This innovative initiative leverages cellular phone’s all key dialing capabilities to facilitate emergency calls that would prompt police response to address crime and public safety emergencies.
Hidalgo said that the project is designed to enhance the efficiency of quick law enforcement operations within Region 3's Area of Responsibility (AOR).
