Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) President & CEO, Federico Laxa, and Mayor Lucilo Bayron spearhead the groundbreaking and time-capsule laying ceremony for Tandikan Ville in Barangay Irawan, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan on February 16. A shelter initiative under President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) Program, the condominium-type development is poised to provide safe, decent, and resilient housing to over 5,600 families. Tandikan Ville boasts 47 five-story buildings with a range of amenities designed to cater to the needs of its future residents. Representing Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Sec. Jose Rizalino Acuzar, MIMAROPA Public Housing & Settlements Division OIC Louis Frederic Alconcel was present at the event. SHFC Executive Vice President Atty. Junefe Payot, SHFC Northwestern Mindanao & VisMin 4PH Vice President Engr. Felman Gilbang, SHFC Palawan Manager Jess Cidro, and Pag-Ibig Fund Palawan Manager Emely Platero graced the occasion. To date, the construction of SHFC’s three ongoing 4PH projects is in full swing. Additionally, there are over 100 projects in the pipeline, which is projected to yield more than 383,000 units.
