Minor, 3 others hurt in QC road crash

A minor and three other individuals were injured after a passenger jeepney flipped on its side and collided with another jeepney along Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City, on Wednesday, February 21.

Members of the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (QCDRRMO) and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) responded to assist the injured passengers.

According to witnesses, one of the drivers of the jeepneys lost control of its brakes while traveling along Commonwealth Avenue, causing it to flip on its side and hitting the other jeepney.

The injured victims were immediately rushed to the hospitals for treatment.

Authorities have not disclosed the names of the drivers involved in the accident as the investigation continues.
